It's everyones last day in Wuhan... Guess everyone had a great time going around Wuhan city doing last min shopping!! Went to han Zheng Jie in the morning, and Bu Xin Jie during the night time... Didnt buy much cause i'm currently having financial problem!! Argh!! lucky it's the last day today!!!

Oh... it's Li Xuen hus time! :D did enjoyed myself.. thanks for hosting us! a big thank you... your 15 dishes dishes had really feeded us... till the brim..It also allow us to have a feeling of home cook food in China! Shopping spree today! went shopping from 10am till 10pm before reaching the dorm! wahhah... happy because i bought tons of cheap stufff!!! cheap cheap cheap!! (bird). haha!!

Went to Han Zheng st today! It's a wholesale st with very very cheap stuffs.. Whatever stuff we wanted to get, we will be able to get when we go there.. be it be socks-shirts-shoes-belt-toys-furniture-stationary... we can get anything from there!

Of course, this is the best opportunties for me to shop and shop... Its the last 7 days in china! ha.. felt so kinda of mixed feeling now... the war between angels and devils are on the run.. haa... :D but i'm glad that we did really do some quality shopping today!

Came back early today at 9 plus from Bu Xin Jie.. Reason is because we wanted to prepare adelene birthday party!! wooo.. HAPPY 18th birthday Adelene! can anyone imagine that there's 5 ppl from MDE than celebrate their birthday here? in Wuhan... Jus within 6 week, we ate 5 cakes.! wahhaa hope u really did enjoy urself...!

Journey to 冬湖 (Eastern Lake)

Woke up at 7am today to get ready for the Visit to Eastern Lake of Wuhan City. Insufficient amount of rest i would say.. slept on the bus from WUST to Eastern Lake. Upon reaching, felt rather blue and moodless.. but decided to follow to crowd.

Than we came to a shop with rental service of traditional clothing (shown in pictures!) and started to play with it. Just $2 and we get to enjoy tons and tons of photo taking session! haha... I guess we enjoy ourself trying to get ourselves to different senerios.

Than follow by the walk by the lake and.. PINIC! everyone was exhausted to carry on climbing up to the peak and therefore a few of us decided to sit by the lake to have some bonding aka chilling aka Pinic session! Settled our lunch withh all the junk food! had a game of message passing aas well as Croc! poor teckyi. kana bullied. haha!

Times flies and off we went to the next site... but i'm back to my blue and insufficient rest, and thus decided to stay on board of the bus while some of the rest went to visit the last sites. and we came back! it's oour family dinner.. and i shall be nice not to post any unglam photos of my 2nd jiejie! rawr!!

oh. it's day 33!! Our IS presentation is finally over!! yupx.. it's all over.. no more IS! one more burden down!~ but our presentation last very very long today.. All groups had put in their best and therefore, dragged the time taken for students to present.

After the presentation, rush back to the dorm.. and rush to supermart... shopped a while and went to Mac to rest. everyone was simply Exhausted due to lack of rest... On the average, each of us onli had 4 - 6 hours of slp last night! (IS proj)

yupx.. went to a Chinese restaurant nearby. It's a dinner treated by Mr. Puah. Thanks teacher... I realize i had been Thanking Mr.Puah a lot since the first day i step into Wuhan.. He took care of us when we are sick... he cook porridge for us when he knew some of us were home sick... he treated us for dinner... etc.. Thanks cher.. Really greatful to u...

It's project day today! everyone seems so stress up... why?? because tmr is our IS presentation!! everyone is trying their best to do the best shot for the.. presentation tmr! besides project, its still project!! All of us here are facing our peak period when stress are coming, yet there seems to be more and more stuff coming in... i started to lost my confidence in my ability of finish everthing on time.. RAWR!

it's definitely a very very tiring day today... Woke up at 7am to get myself to the dental clinic for my last operation of my teeth!! yipee! done.. no more going back to the scary place! reach there at 8am. As usual, long waiting session for me. Thanks Ching Xiang for accompanying mi to the dental treatment.. Gan Dong... Reach school at 11pm and went to computer town with vi2, Suelyn, Ching xiang and benji!

Saw bao ao on the bus! surprise!! hes my Camp mates who had lost contact for like 3 semesters. Haven seen him ever since the orientation camp that i had attended in Year 1. Went to the only fully Vegetarian restaurant for lunch! heex.. The one and only Vegetarian restaurant in Wuhan. After lunch, we strolll towards computer town and bought thumbdrives for Mr.Puah as well as some stuffs.

Back to hostal.. but feeling extremely exhausted due to the shortage of rest!! went to bed immediately after bathed.

Did my own cooking today! well done andy. had dinner at Sabes rm with her Geok ting, Steffi, Suelyn benji,julian blbalblabla!! woo... gathering?!~ haha.. quite fun when everyone contributed some of their food! haha.. Yupx!! i'm back from Mt. Wudan!! haha.. Mt. Wudan, a moutain of 1230 feets above sea level. Something to clarify. i'm there to visit the place & there is no monk at the top of the mt. it's Taoism.. LOl...

Day 1

Woke up very very early to travel to the Mt. A 5 hours journey would definitely be more than enuff for everyone. Butts were numb when we reaches there! yupx.. than we went to for lunch follow by the first part of Mt. Wudan. Somewhere in the middle of the Mt. Mt. Wudan had tons of tourism Sites. At ard 8pm plus, we went into the hotel and checked in. An average hotel i guess... (refer to Pic)

Day 2

Woke up at 6am for breakfast. Breakfast in hotels here was definitely China style... follow by the travelling to the Peak of Mount Wudan! Took cable car (2-way) instead of climbing up the mountain thinking that i would have more time at the peak taking photos! but it turns out to be the opposite.. there's many ppl queueing up for the cable car and the time we took to reach the top of the MT, is longer than those who climb the moutain. RAWR!!! haha.. bought a Lock at the peak to pray for the Ping An of my family.. and it's lock up at the peak of Wudan.

Something happened that brought eveeryones mood down.. the deeath of our very new fren, degrey(rabbit). Rest in Peace "tutu". Hope u are living find in Mt. Wudan and everyone misses u...

wakes up at 10 plus to had my breakfast today!! follow by some research of my project and went to meet up with xiao ling Teacher for some discussion about china bussinesses..off we went to chat for more than 3 hrs... follow by IS project meeting.. Went for dinner with clar, yining, weiling, karen,teckyi and julian. So funnn huh! haha.. than back to the room to... chilll and relax with a lousy internet connection.. Anyway, Some kind of Sianzation things happened today and shall not blogg it.. pls do not let it happen again.. endurance are limited! haa...

HMM!! it's day 24! and today i had no lesson! Due to my dental operation.. My 2nd operation of the period in Wuhan! wahhaha!~ Thanks Mr. Teckyi for accompanying mi there this morning! Appreciate it.. had some chat with you while waiting for the dentist for almost 2 hours!! Taking a Cab there is definitely another new Experience for both mi and you.. ! Xie xie ni!

ops! its tuesday today! normal routine in the morning with IS lesson talking abt religion and types of religion in China ; which is related to my Project topic! Therefore, 100% attention was paid in the lesson and i find it rather interesting..

Anyway, Mummy! i went to consult a doctor today! like wad u had told mi to do.. but i went there tgt with my friends... have anyone ever tried consulting a doctor with one big bunch of frenss?? LOL... we Did! and here we are consulting the doctor.. more than 1/4 of the class were sick... ._. and were having the same illness.. is it a virus?? or... haha...

today.. i didnt went to zoo with the others.. as i'm not realli feeling well and were tramatized by my resut.. but nehmind, decided to work hard next sem.. to archieve better result.. :) instead, i went to source for Vegetarian food at Zhong Shan Park area and i found it! Thanks karen! if not for ur determination, i guess i will not have found it.. haha! and also thanks again for accompanying the sick little boy to source for it food and this is definitely the best meal that i ever had in Wuhan.. aha!

In China, they onli eat moon cake with beers... haha..

day 19-21 (3 gorges)

hey peeps!

i back from the long journey of 3 gorges.. it's a long and enriching journey to learn about the 3 gorges and one of the biggest project in the world. Dam of 3 gorges.. Although it's an enriching journey, yet its another tiring trip. came back with flu... sorethroat and even fever.. RaWR!! felt weak somehow in China when i'm as strong as a cow in SG? lol.. guess it's the weather that makes mi sick bah... but its stilla nice experience for me to eat on board, bath on board and slp on board of a cruise when i had neber step to a cruise before.. but it somehow just gave mi nauseated feeling...

First day, we went over to take a look at the biggest project! than dam. wondering how pity it will be after the project are completely constructed in the year 2009. some of the sites that we are seeing now would become below the water level and puff! gone...yupx.. according to the guide.. there is pros and cons of the constructing of the big dam. After a long day, we finally got to the cruise for the nightt! photos...:

It's Another tiring day today! had IS lesson today! after IS, it's BPM lesson! omg.. it's so tiring.. anyway, some of our class mates went to make hair treatment today.. Seems okay with me.. Considering on weather to go for treatment as well..

Went to WarMart in the evening today! To buy stuff and get ourself prepared for tmrs 3 Gorges visit. (3D2N). Adelene, pls take good care of urself.. i seriously hope that u will be able to make it for the 3 gorges visit tmr! cause, Next year onwards, no chance for us to see alrdy.

It's dental day today! i went over to Hubeisheng Kou Qiang Yi Yuan to do cure my teeth. It had been aching for days and finally i went over there to Cure it. After Checking, i realise i had to do a root transplant for my teeth and it cost 400RMb. Wonder if i would be able to claim it from the school......

Anyway, i admit that i'm damn scare today.. Thats the most scariest place i would say due to my bad experience in Secondary school that make mi had kind of phobia of visiting a dentist.. but thanks Frens. for reassuring mi that everything is gonna be alright..

3 more visits to there and my teeth will bee Fixed.. may god bless mi...

oh.. today was jus a normal day with normal routine.. study... there will be test tmr! got to study.. anyway something happened to me today! my tooth hurts mi so much tat i slept for the whole afternoon. Tmr i will be goin for dental treatment... hope it wun cost mi a bomb pls! RAWR!! Thanks Mr.phua for the extra strong panadol given to me.

Anyway, i went to the muslim store today! had a bowl of rice as well as a bowl of soup. Although it doesnt had my mummy feeling.. yet it gave mi SG feeling. Specially super homesick today i guess.. Maybe because i'm not feeling well.. RAWR! 28 more days back home.. Hope my Teeth will get a speedy recovery after tmr... :D

Day 13 & 14

Jus returned from a 2 day 1 night trip for water rafting and some tour. from this trip, i personnally feel that china is both a beautiful place and vice versa. Beautiful interms of it's senery while Vice Versa in terms of it's ppl as well as traffic condition. We had a 5 hours ride of bus journey that makes everyone feel so sick and tired.. i hope i'm fine but i feel sick..

Anyway, we went to Mei Ren Gu/Tian An Men... and etc.. it's definitely a nice place. No matter how tired, once reaching the location, alll my energy is back again! haa.. took tons of photos but decided to put 5 of it and goin to bed already!

Water rafting was Definitely Fun.. and tough i would say. Got myself Sun burned! and it will always be in my.. memories to raft in China! :D nitex ppl. i enjoyed myself for the past 2 days.

Oh... yupx.. it's the visit that i wanted to since the first day i arrive here in Wuhan.. It's the Cola Factory visit with FREE cola! wahhaha.. had a great time there looking at how the coke that we drink were being produced. Now, i truely understand the meaning of Fattening... amount of sugar is high.. damn high.
After the Visit, we were release at TOWN.. Wuhan Town Bu Xin Jie to Do shopping.. Woohoo! haa.. but i went back @ 4 plus. First time taking a bus without Daisy... Exciting.. :D

Day 11

Today was IS day! wake up at 7am and start preparing for lesson. after lesson, we went to BPE lesson till afternoon. There's nothing much happening today jus that i went to back streets and start my exploration! It was realli lucky for the malays as there's more and more shops with the hala Sign.. which means my 2 malay frens will have food to eat alrdy.. Good news for u Fiza and Mirah. Nice time having Chatting Session today! :D

It's Day 10! Nothing much happen today. Today we had our usual routine, Study. Soon we went to computer town as we are short of HARD DISK! and we spend 2 hour negiotiating for a price and finally we deal at 390 RMB for 160 GB (Samsung hard disk). haha.. which is equalivant to 80 Sing dollar. An Archievement. something that i dont like is the long bus journey...and we did the same thing when we're bored! Dinner at a Restaurant known as Green TREE! nice environment yet expensive..

Day 9: Tuesday, 2 September 2008

It was another morning with a normal routine. However, like mentioned in the previous blog, there is a new canteen in school! I shall name it as Canteen 3! Today i went there for lunch. With my classmates and Mr Phua..

The Canteen was a nicely furnished canteen with Fully Air conditional. The Size of the canteen is about twice the size of Canteen 1 in Ngee Ann. I Guess we are all facing stress by the work load that we are having and thus, today everyone was low and seems very tired. Normally during lunch, we will crap about anything on earth but today, it was just a tired and stressful moment in WUST now. Projects and presentation just seems to roll in and we were all Quite stress over it..

Seriously, i felt that today was so blue for everyone but it’s not even Monday.. Where does the blue comes from?? For me, i’m the happy go lucky type and i hope everyone will be high up after a night of recharged tonight!

Anyway, i realise one of the culture different that Singapore had while china don’t have are the habits of queuing up for foods. They like to cut queue and had 0 patients to wait. Kinda of rude behaviours i would say but since i am in their country, i shall jus Pei he!! :D

Day 8 ( week 2 Day 1)

Today was the first day of our School Term and also our first lecture and tutorial of Mr Phua lesson! lesson starts at 9! haa.. so we went to had our lesson and..... end at 12pm for our lunch.. from them, we proceed to the newly open canteen for our lunch!! food there was definitely better than the canteen on the first floor.. The food was Delicious..!

After that, we went to do our weekly grocery shopping to top up whatever our "Big" room and it's owner need.. follow by a dinner session to Celebrate teachers day!!

Seriously, i felt that Singapore and China had a Big different in their culture. The biggest different was the Serving for food's portion. The food portion is Extra Extra Big Size for us (singaporean).

Day 7 (week 1)

A week had past. It's definitely a long and Tiring weeks with tons of adaptation needed. We are allow to get use to the tempreature, get use to the environment with our new classmates, to get use with doing all the misc stuff ourselves without maids or parent beside us.. to even get use with the bed that we are sleeping on..

5 more weeks before arrival at SCA... haha.. depriving for that day still... but at the same time.. i'm still here to carry on my learning.. and experience the different life style that we had...

Today, we can finally woke up at 8am, and we started our journey toward "Han Kou" and follow by the "Bu Xin Jie" to do our shopping. Han Kou is actually a park along the Chang Jiang (Yantze River). Bu Xin Jie was "orchard Rd" of Singapore! but was 4 times bigger than our TOWN in SG. Mr Pua bought us through streets and Roads at the side of Bu Xin Jie and allow us to Experience wad's life all about.

Lifes is definitely about Born... Getting Old and death.. looking at the living condition of the people living at the subset of Bu Xin jie, i felt lucky to be parts of a Singaporean.. living condition for them is definitely Poor.. (my opinion.)

Day 6

Today, we went to Tour around Hubei Province, Wuhan. 3 location that we had went to and they are the Hubei Museum, Snack Eating house(impressive), and the Huang Hou Gong of China history. Although i fell down during the trip due to Blurness of mi which makes a bad start for my day, but no worries! overall i would say the trip is fun.

the trip begans after a breakfast at the university canteen which sells cheap food. at 8.33am, we move off from the campus and began the half an hour journey to the museum. While alighting, i fell down like a ball rolling down from the bus's stairs. which left a cut on my forearm and a swollen tumb.. RAWR!!! suay... Lots of Artifacts are in the musuem and we did know more abt china history or should i say Hubei's Museum through the visits.

OH... IT'S DAY 5! so fast yet so slow... RAWR!! Craving for SG food, SG bed. haha..but ya today i saw smth that i saw first time. which is an IRON Blast FURNACE!! oh my!! cant imagine i got the Chance to See it. haha.. although no one explain, but thanks MR phua for the short and sweet Explanation made for us to allow us to have a better understanding.

Due to Short post on Day 4, This post will consist of my day 3 and day 4!!

Day 3

Day 3 seems short but to me it’s already long enough. I think I had some kind of home sick but ya compare to the 1st day, I guess I’m definitely coping well. Adapting to what others do is definitely a MUST for ngee ann Student in WUST.
Woke up at 7.45am today followed by a morning Knock at our door by NP lecturers, Mr.Puah. Thanks Mr Puah for waking us up. Although is a bit out of theory for lecturers to wake student up but still thanks, your effort is appreciated.
Had Scrambled egg by Benjamin this morning. It was nice and definitely an achievement for us as it’s our very own home cooks breakfast! Follow by a Lecturer and introduction by Mr puah at the international block of Wuhan University. Moral Values were taught at the beginning of the lecture.
China lecturers are nice to teach us how to take public transport to Shopping malls, or I should say “orchard” of Wuhan city. Whole MDE students went to Zhong Shan Lu to do our Shopping sprees. But before that, we went over to Zhong Shan Garden to have Fun at the theme park. I had my first roller costal right in my life at the theme park. It was just very very Chilling to seats the roller costal. Thanks to the 2 China volunteers, Li Xuen and Wen Zi to bring us over. I believe everyone had a good time taking photos today.
Due to Curiosity, I asked one of my china friend if she noticed anything different between us and the normal China youngster. Surprisingly, her reply was the way we dare to play around as well as the happy happy (Kai Lang) side of us.
From their reply, I realize that they are also living in the world of stress despite living in China. It was definitely a wrong concept that only people working in the developed country faces Stress.
Due to the large amount of population, old man around the ages of 60 plus would be asking for money at the park which is definitely a incident with mixture feeling. We as a student felt pitiful for him yet donate 1 may attract others to rush over to ask for more Money. Sorry, we cant do it.
Shopping Spree was definitely nice and I realize that there was no different in the big shopping centre of Wuhan and Singapore. The only different is that there are huge shopping space in Wuhan that makes everyone depriving for foot reflexology at the end of the day.
We understand more about the culture of China today such as the food that they normally consume as well as the clothing they normally wear. A series of Super mart shopping had make us Enjoy the day with tons of tiredness
We had taken both the Taxi and the Bus of Wuhan! Yupx. Taxi uncle was friendly although we were lost and he doesn’t know how to come to WUST, but we still arrive safely at WUST after a long disturb. Thanks MR PUA and Daisy as well as WENZI for bringing us out for Fun today!

Day 4

Today was our first IS module lesson. A Straight 4 hours lecture which makes us all exhausted. From the lecture, we learnt a lot of new stuff like history of China, some tourism site of China, business in China as well as taking closer steps into understanding of China. I personally observed that lecturers in China don’t have the habits of giving students breaks. Unlike Ngee Ann when Singapore had a lot of breaks every 1 hour. But in China, lecturer gave one shot 4 hours lecture. But it was definitely fun and enriching with helpful lecturers that are willing to assist us in any possible ways.
After lesson today, we called Mr Yang, a IT expert to come and repair my internet access as there’s some problem with it that makes me unable to excess to the internet. Thanks you Mr yang for fixing my internet so that I am able to communicate with people in Singapore!
Soon I went shopping for grocery while my roommates when sleeping at home. While doing shopping, we realize a few shops of cheap stuffs. But some of the customer service was not that good. Some of them even tried to stop us from exiting until we bought but we didn’t.
Upon coming back, we do some basic laundry and took an afternoon nap. It was so long since we are given the time to rest. Cook dinner as China rain today! It’s summer but it’s raining. An miracle! Started to adapt the life of China already!

Day 3 is definitely one of the Best day that i had ever spend throughout the past 4 days.. We Went to Zhong Shan Gong yuan to play with it's theme park... !! Woohoo.... my first BIG rollar costal Ride happen on today!! realli had fun!!!

Day 2
Today was the 2nd day in China, Wuhan. As Told yesterday, we are all trying very hard to put Singapore behind and adapt to new environment and happily enjoying every moment of it and I knew that everyone in the class would definitely do a very good job in adapting with the support of one another.
My roommates and I Jumped up from the bed realizing that it’s 7.40am and we were all stunned as the meeting time for us is just 5 Minutes away. We did a quick brush up and rush to meet our teacher who will be bringing us to Breakfast. Upon reaching the restaurant, we realize that all the food had already been sold out. We actually personally experience the culture of China, whereby breakfast was taken between 6.30 am– 7.00am. In Singapore, we seldom find any stalls opening at 6.30am.
We had “Man Tou” for breakfast today. It was just a plain bun and lots of students were reluctant to eat and therefore we went to back streets. Although some of the food there was quite unhygienic, but we chose the stall and purchase goods from the most neat and tidy stall. As I’m a vegetarian, I could only eat egg prata.
Next up will be the welcome ceremony by the Vice-person in charge of WUST. Seriously, I could actually felt the sincerity of the staffs of WUST which make it as comfortable as possible and I feel that we student should actually appreciate.
Soon we went to purchase stuff that is needed such as oil, egg and etc. Another thing that I had observed is that China is definitely a very big country that is needed to walk from place to place. We took half an hour walk to the super mart and another half an hour Stroll back to the hostel. After unpacked, we went to lunch as well as to familiarize with places around the university and I am quite confident that I will not get lose in WUST after today. Felt really happier as I’m quite home-sick yesterday. It’s definitely an experience to stay in china for the coming 40 days.
In the afternoon, Mr Phua brought us around to buy china prepaid card which I think will definitely be cheaper when we contacting with students in Wuhan. From there, we realize that China does not work systematically. Changing of Phone policy without informing the Shops that is selling the product wasted the whole afternoon of ours. We Waited and waited yet lots of problems happened. One of our classmates called his parent and we bought another type of Prepaid and finally we settled down with a proper china prepaid.
Dinner Time, we had our snacks from the small streets behind and again as a vegetarian, I ate fried potatoes. Internet access was not granted to us yet due to some delay. We were not in our room when he came to fits the internet access.
That’s the end of day 2 and the beginning of year 3

DAY 1 (Changi to WUST)

· Woke up early in the morning
· Went to the airport and saw the loves one of other team mates
· Friends were there to send us off
· Went in reluctantly
· Long boring Flight Which exhaust most of us
· With a Transit time of 2 hours
· Observe one of the Characteristic of Cheena which delay out Checking in time. Quarrelling Loudly at the Check in place
· Luggages spoilt and Friends help via providing them with a Lock. (helpful)
· Than walked a long path way to the departure building
· Another boring flight
· Upon reaching, we alight directly to the ground, which considered interesting to me as I had nv encounter such incident
· Than to meet up with lecturers and travel to Wuhan Uni
· Long bus right with Interesting stuff to observe (Eg. Ppl/car/ Chang Jiang/ old couple crossing roads with hand by hand/ bubble tea shop in the middle of old Shops)
· Knew daisy and she will bring us around interact with her and understand more about wuhan.
· Took quite a few group photos since Changi to WUST and Travel for more than 12 ours before we reached our rooms.
· Upon seeing the room, we were astonished.
· No LIFT!! Had to carry our luaggages up the stairs
· Hoping to adapt the life in china more in the coming 41 days
· Went to macdonald(demerit points as it was rather messy and disorganize with bad customer service)/super mart(merit point as they allow us to enter) and observe another demerit points abt cheena.
· Helpful lecturers from wust makes mi felt grateful to them
· Back to the Room to do house keeping such as washing the toilet.. Bedsheets and Etc.
· The End. No more careless and be more careful. I miss my parent.
· Saw the different characteristic of all the 20 ppl tat came to China.. some were extro some super intro. Adelene was left out most of the time.

Off we Travel to China! It was the first time that i'm on South china Airline throughout all the flight experience that i have. Although its not one of the best, but i'm sure its not one of the worst. Rate: average.. Acceptable i would say.....
